The strings were played by the London Session Orchestra, arranged by Nick Ingham and Noel Gallagher. 'Half The World Away' was featured as the theme tune to the BBC sitcom 'The Royale Family'. The live version of the classic Beatles tune, 'I am the Walrus', was recorded at the Glasgow Cathouse in June 1994.
